The LCSD LEO Club is proud to announce the induction of four new members into our growing community service club! Congratulations to Auston Bentley, Grace Fox, James Giarla and Amir Huzair.

The Lyndonville Lions Club hosted the induction ceremony on Nov. 13 at the White Birch Golf Course.

LEO stands for “Leadership, Experience and Opportunity.” The Lyndonville Lions Club sponsors the LEO Club, mentoring high school students and fostering their commitment to community service. The LEO Club consists of 17 students from grades 7-12. Current members include: President Hannah Marker, Vice President Alyssa Prine, Secretary Hannah Fox, Treasurer Isabella Bresett, Aidan Allen, Ava Austin, Sarah Corser, Madison Davis, Alviia Goigova, Molly Ingersoll, Kendyll Kidney, Emily Miner and Savannah Spoth.

The LEO Club embraces opportunities to support the community through several activities during the year. This year's activities include:

  • Food Drive (November)

  • Collection and distribution of hats, gloves, mittens and scarves for people in need (December)

  • Decorating a Christmas Tree for Christmas in Lyndonville (December)

  • Bell ringing for the Salvation Army in conjunction with the Lyndonville Lions Club (December)

  • Silver Tiger events, which include a luncheon hosted by the LEO Club (March)

  • School Supply Drive (February)

  • Personal Hygiene Drive (Spring)
