The Lyndonville Board of Education is engaged in a search for a new superintendent to succeed Sharon Smith, who is retiring on August 1, 2025. The Board has appointed Orleans/Niagara BOCES District Superintendent Taweepon Farrar, Ed.D, as search consultant.

The search consultant guides the district through a process that outlines candidate qualifications, publicizes the opening, and provides a timeline and review process for the board to select the next Lyndonville Superintendent.

You will find more information about the search at District Superintendent | Orleans/Niagara BOCES.

Information about the district is available at: https://5il.co/398jc

Application is available at: https://5il.co/398ij

Timeline for the search is available at: https://5il.co/399pm

Community input is a key component to a successful search. Community members can complete a survey to provide input to the Lyndonville Board on the selection of the next Superintendent at this link: Community Input: Next Superintendent of Schools Search. The survey closes in March.

All input will be shared with the Lyndonville Board to assist them in the selection process. The goal is to have a new superintendent in place by July 1, 2025, or shortly thereafter.
