Students participated in a variety of activities during Snowcoming on Dec. 20. They played handball; passed a candy cane pool noodle, using only their feet; decorated cookies; worked on crafts; and played bells.

Some staff members recently participated in a door decorating contest with the "Biology Bake Shop" (aka Kathleen Kennedy's door) winning! The design was done by students. A wall mural is also in progress around some other teachers' doors! Lots of creativity on display!

Spanish students have also been busy creating projects to display in the hallways. They wrote letters to Santa in Spanish, created a list of their favorite things in Spanish and put together a display of how the holidays are celebrated. Well done!

Pre-K-grade 6 students participated in the Merry Moose Shopping event at both schools this week. The Medina Dollar Tree gave the district a donation of 400 items so that students could "shop" for themselves or their families this holiday season. Thank you, Medina Dollar Tree!
