
Students participated in a variety of activities during Snowcoming on Dec. 20. They played handball; passed a candy cane pool noodle, using only their feet; decorated cookies; worked on crafts; and played bells.

Some staff members recently participated in a door decorating contest with the "Biology Bake Shop" (aka Kathleen Kennedy's door) winning! The design was done by students.
A wall mural is also in progress around some other teachers' doors! Lots of creativity on display!

Spanish students have also been busy creating projects to display in the hallways. They wrote letters to Santa in Spanish, created a list of their favorite things in Spanish and put together a display of how the holidays are celebrated. Well done!

Students in Brianna Wheeler’s class were having a blast on their "sleigh ride" in PE with Karli Sturtevant.


Pre-K 4 students in Montica Sparks' class played pin the nose on Rudolph, made reindeer hats and ate festive snacks to celebrate the upcoming holidays today!










Kelly Follman, Becky Botsford, and some of the fifth and sixth grade band students serenaded elementary students as they walked into school with Christmas carols on Thursday!


Winter recess started after early dismissal on Dec. 20 and ends on Jan. 1. Students and staff return to school on Jan. 2. Happy holidays!


This week, 3rd grade students in Mackenzie Rothwell and Julia Robinson's class finished learning about ecosystems. Students were tasked with demonstrating what they learned by creating an ecosystem diorama and working collaboratively on posters. Great job, everyone!




Kindergarten classes made gingerbread houses today to celebrate the holiday season!





Pre-K-grade 6 students participated in the Merry Moose Shopping event at both schools this week. The Medina Dollar Tree gave the district a donation of 400 items so that students could "shop" for themselves or their families this holiday season. Thank you, Medina Dollar Tree!

The Sr. High Select Chorus sang at the Busy Buddies Luncheon. Students were happy to share holiday songs & carols with area senior citizens, including many former Lyndonville faculty members who were all teachers of Mrs. Trupo! They also enjoyed dessert provided by White Birch.


These second graders received Student of the Month for demonstrating empathy throughout the month of December. Well done!


Today, select members of the 5th and 6th grade band visited the Pre-K 3 & 4 classrooms to spread some musical holiday cheer. Pre-K students played "Jingle Bells" with sleigh bells while the band students performed!



Our Special Ed staff participated in team building for the holidays by learning how to paint together with the help of our art teacher, Ashley Maybach!
