The Board of Education Policy Committee is in the process of a thorough review and update of policies. Every effort is made to keep the website current, but for the most up to date information please refer to BoardDocs or email the District Clerk.

District Policies

The Board of Education policies serve as the official governing framework that guides our district's decisions, operations, and educational standards. These established guidelines ensure consistency, accountability, and a safe, equitable learning environment for all Lyndonville CSD students, staff, and community members.

  • Series 1000 - By-Laws

    Policies governing the organization, authority, elections, officers, meetings, and procedures of the Board of Education.

  • Series 2000 - Internal Operations

    Policies covering the internal operations and activities of the Board of Education, including training, committees, expenses, and self-evaluation.

  • Series 3000 - Community Relations

    Policies governing the District’s relationship with the public, including visitors, facilities, public records, conduct, discrimination, and emergency situations.

  • Series 4000 - Administration

    Policies defining District administration, administrative authority, committees, evaluation, and the Superintendent’s role.

  • Series 5000 - Non-Instructional/Business Operations

    Policies covering finances, purchasing, facilities, safety, records, transportation, technology, and other District operations.

  • Series 6000 - Personnel

    Policies governing District employees, including employment, conduct, qualifications, professional development, personnel practices, and benefits.

  • Series 7000 - Students

    Policies covering student attendance, rights, records, conduct, activities, health and welfare, and special education.

  • Series 8000 - Instruction

    Policies governing curriculum, instructional programs, educational materials, technology, and instructional arrangements.

These processes provide clear, consistent guidance for carrying out district operations and expectations while ensuring Board policies are applied effectively and appropriately across Lyndonville CSD.
